After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:1: Treat benign breast conditions such as fibroadenoma, mastitis, and gynecomastia.2: Identify features of atypical ductal hyperplasia that suggest an increased risk for subsequent development of breast cancer.3: Explain the relationship between LCIS and development of breast cancer.4: Assess the likelihood that DCIS will progress to invasive cancer and identify the associated risk factors.5: Choose appropriate diagnostic and management options for LCIS and DCIS.
